VISION: The Social Spot is a social and support group for youth on the autism spectrum, as well as, their family and friends. We strive to provide a variety of social opportunities for youth in a safe, comfortable and fun environment. We also seek to provide parental education, guidance and support.
MISSION: The four stars in our logo represent our groups mission which is to provide:
*Socialization *Support *Awareness *Inclusion
Our target audience is youth on the autism spectrum ages 10-18 years old who are very mild to high functioning or as some might suggest, “less affected”.
Youth Meet-Ups and Parent Meetings: Events, dates and location to be determined by the group.
**NOTE: PARENT SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS ARE NO LONGER HELD QUARTERLY. THEY ARE HELD ALONGSIDE THE SCHEDULED YOUTH EVENTS
